Larin is a writer, director and documentarian based in Los Angeles.
Larin earned her MFA in Directing from the Columbia University School of the Arts, Film Division. Her three short films, Dive, Exposure and Bike Job, have played over 30 film festivals globally, including BFI Flare, Frameline, InsideOut, Nashville Film Festival, Mill Valley Film Festival and Outfest. She is the writer/director of Soul, a nonfiction film about burial garment designer Pia Interlandi. Soul premiered on the ABC Australia as part of the award winning Anatomy Series, produced by Matchbox. Her commercial clients include Samsung, Lexus, Swing Left, Nestlé, Gap, This Free Life, AMF, Genesis, Procter and Gamble and The Government of Canada. Her work has been featured on Showtime, Foxtel, HGTV, Ovation as well as online on Rolling Stone, IHeartComix, Mamamia Women’s Network and OUT. Her videos have been exhibited by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, SF, Dirty Looks on Location, NYC and Creative City, Sydney.
Larin is in development with her first feature film, The Young King, and she is the founder of Trinket Films.
